INTRODUCING THE BABY DADDY I LET GET AWAY: Van Vicker

I'm a fanatic of Nollywood/Gollywood (West African Hollywood) and came across Van Vicker in the movie named "Beyonce." Coincidently, the movie was about the President's daughter, Beyonce, who always got what she wanted and was in love with Van's character. However, Van was in love with the character named "Ciara" aka "Cici" and Beyonce did everything from trying to bribe her to pouring acid on Cici's face to get her man. This movie was the biggest movie in Nollywood for 2007.

Van was born to a half Ghanaian half Liberian Mother (offcourse Liberia is claiming his fine azz) and a Dutch father. His father died when he was six years old. Due to the early death of his father, and has stated he is very close with is mother and considers her his hero.

He started as a television personality. In 2003, Vicker appeared in the Ghanaian television series, Suncity, which portrayed university life. He played the character of LeRoy King, Jr., a fine arts student born in the U.S. who arrives at Suncity to complete his education. The series ran for a total of 10 episodes.

Soon, Van was cast in his first film "Divine Love" as a supporting character. This film coincidentally was also the debut roles for fellow actors Jackie Aygemang (who played Ciara in the movie "Beyonce"). Even though Van's role in Divine Love was in a supporting capacity, based on the strength of his performance, Van has been consistently cast in leading romantic roles thereafter. His role in "Beyonce" has afforded him recognition around the world with a strong following in the US and the Carribean.

Talks are also underway to make him a model for a Nike Company. Universal Studios is said to be interested as well.

Van is married to Adjoa and they are the proud parents of two daughters, J'dyl and J-ian.
