BILLBOARD SAYS: MEN LIE, WOMEN LIE, NUMBERS DON'T



This week on the albums chart:

1, Rick Ross "Trilla" with 198,000 copies sold (more than janet and snoop with less promotion) (Slip-N-Slide/Def Jam)

2. "NOW 27" with 169,000, the lowest opening week for a regular "NOW" album since the first edition bowed in 1998 with 48,000.

3. Snoop Dogg's "Ego Trippin'" with 137,000. (lowest first week sale for him)

4. Jack Johnson's "Sleep Through the Static"

5. Alan Jackson's "Good Time"

6. Fat Joe's "The Elephant in the Room" with 46,000 copies (all that press from 50 and he couldn't pull 50k)

7. Sara Bareilles' "Little Voice"

8. Janet Jackson's "Discipline" with 38,000.

9. Erykah Badu's "New Amerykah: Part One (4th World War)" with 35,000

10. Miley Cyrus' "The Best of Both Worlds Concert" (Walt Disney) arrives at No. 10 on sales of 34,000.
